    Key Responsibilities


    Valuations & Analysis

    • Prepare quarterly valuations for portfolio companies in accordance with industry standards (ASC 820)
    • Develop and document financial models, assumptions, and inputs using venture capital methodologies
    • Present valuation results to internal stakeholders, including partners, auditors, and valuation committees

    Fund Accounting & Operations

    • Support the quarterly close process, including financial statements, capital account statements, and other investor deliverables
    • Coordinate annual audits and support preparation of audited financials
    • Review capital call and distribution allocations
    • Oversee cash management activities and capital planning
    • Coach and mentor associate fund accountants to support their development
    • Address investor (LP) inquiries in a timely, accurate, and well-mannered approach
    • Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • CPA designation preferred
    • 3+ years of experience in public accounting (serving VC/PE clients) or in-house at a venture capital or private equity firm
    • Deep understanding of ASC 820 and ASC 946
    • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
    • Experience with ERP systems such as Investran, Intacct, or QuickBooks is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
