Amherst. Aither Health. Inventory Control Analyst. $40,000 - $60,000/year. Why This Role is Important: Navigating the healthcare system can be very confusing. Where should you go? How much will you have to pay? Will the service be covered? Is this doctor good? These are just a few questions members often have when seeking care. Aither's HIVE Inventory Control Analyst will support the team by prioritizing advocacy assignments and providing support through the members healthcare journey. What You'll Do: * Manage Connect advocacy Boards - Daily review of boards to ensure appropriate priority setting and follow-up is occurring according to SOP - Add checklist items if needs are identified during review - Triage and prioritize ticket assignments to ensure appropriate and timely workflow - Assign daily assignments if tickets are not worked timely - Follow up with assignments and advocates to ensure work is being completed - Complete strategic assignments if advocates are not available - Support and mentor advocates with advocacy assignments regarding cost containment solution process * Add CMS auths to tickets each day * Assist with the development and documentation of standard operating procedures for the team * Be available to assist team with problem solving of difficult cases * Assign emails in the Aither Advocate mail box to team members - Monitor to ensure emails are addressed and resolved in a timely manner - Complete emails if advocates are not available * Support the onboarding of new team members * Assist with calls to maintain acceptable call standards * Work ticket as applicable - Individually assigned tickets - Escalated tickets - Support on challenging tickets - Research on tickets for advocates * Support Advocates on cost containment strategies. What You'll Bring:: * High school diploma or GED required - Associates Degree preferred -Knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10 codes and Medical Terminology a plus * Experience with lots and lots of phone calls, coming in and going out * Ability to remain patient, level-headed and cool under pressure * Critical thinking and the ability to direct assignments and ensure they are being completed timely * Talent to communicate clearly - when you explain it, people get it * PC and Windows experience * Desire to help people and get them to those ah! moments * A love for taking on difficult situations and finding creative solutions * Natural talent for digging until you find a solution * The attitude that anything worth doing is worth doing right - every single time * Talent for ensuring nothing falls through the cracks on your watch * Strong self management and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality * The motivation to learn and constantly improve processes * Mindset of a team-player - you'll be ready to jump in and help on any Aither task * Based on business needs, hours outside your normally scheduled shift may be required * Monday-Friday 830am-5pm EST work week To apply, forward cover letter and resume to: bclarisey@aitherhealth.com
