NY1498145 Prep Cook G.S. Steamers Bar and Grill located in Oswego NY is looking for a part time Prep Cook Responsibilities include - Set up station with necessary items to produce menu items per shift checklist - Requisitions any items needed before end of shift - Checks banquet and prep sheet for future functions and functions for that night - Makes chef/Sous chef aware of any problems during shift(e.g. 86 items, personnel problems, production problems) - Maintains sanitary kitchen condition and cleans all line equipment per posted side work schedules - Helps out in any area where needed to ensure smooth operation of department - Responsible for special assignments and projects as assigned - Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times - Stay current on all emergency procedures and acts accordingly - Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance - Attend department meetings - Adhere to all policies and procedures as established by the company including but not limited to those contained in the Employee Handbook Education - High School Diploma/GED Work hours - Varies including nights, weekends and holidays Wage - $15 - $20 per hour Special Requirements - Able to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods of time Apply to please send resume to HR@bhgmail.com or mail to BHG PO Box 992 Oswego NY, 13126 Attn: HR or drop your resume off at the front desk of the Clarion Hotel/ GS Steamers located at 70 East 1st Oswego NY 13126.
