Shyft Services, a division of TD SYNNEX, is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect that will be responsible for supporting the sales motion for Shyft's portfolio of services, including Supply Chain Management, Field, and Repair Services. This role's primary focus will be on the Supply Chain Management Services business unit with cross training opportunities for the other service business units. Solution Architects work with the sales team to assess incoming opportunities and determine the feasibility of the opportunity. They will then work within the business unit subject matter experts to develop the statement of work or RFx response in a timely and optimal manner, using appropriate cost models and delivery best practices with the ultimate goal of providing a fully scoped, timely proposal at an achievable price point. They will also work to ensure proper margins and maximize ROI. They will work as the lead on a presales solution as a point of continuity until such time as it is handed off to the PMO and/or Delivery organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
- Analyze OEM/Strategic VAR RFX/SOW requirements for an initiative/program/contract or customer problem mitigation. Support customer meetings to validate or expand upon solution understanding and assist in gap analysis to support bid/no bid assessments and teaming strategies.

- Assume a lead role to the capture and proposal teams to articulate proposed solutions in writing to convey company's technical and/or service capabilities, understanding of customer requirements and the solution approach.

- Communicate the generated bid strategy to management and other appropriate people within the organization and solicit feedback and incorporate back into the generated strategy.

- Generate a compliant proposal with outlines and solution framework based upon supplied customer requirement information.

- Prepare question(s) to better understand customer requirements contained within the supplied RFx/SOW and other customer information.

- Prepare tools in support of program/contract IDIQ bids to include technical requirements, contract requirements, and cost modeling and sourcing. These tools will be updated and utilized through the entire bid process.

- Validate customer supplied requirements with specific offerings to satisfy those requirements with the most appropriate technical and price cost solution.

- Validate partner provided solutions in direct or indirect response of customer requirements

- "Value Engineering"- assist with the identification of the most optimum solutions to meet the customer provided requirements within the overall approach and strategy of the developed bid proposal response.

- Conceptualization of a wide-range of technical and/or services solutions for a variety of business needs.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:
Experience:

* 8-10 years of Supply Chain/Logistics/Distribution industry experience, including three or more years in sales engineering or consulting work of relevant work experience.

* 1-3 years of leadership experience (Lead, Supervisor, Manager) a plus.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or an IT-related field.

Other Education / Certifications:

Supply Chain Certs (ASCM/APICS CSCP etc) are a plus.
IT Industry certs (A+, Network+, Project+, OEM specific, etc.) are a plus.

Working Conditions:

* Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

* On-call availability required as necessary.

* Remote/Telecommute.
