based on experience\* Gundersen Health System is seeking part-time EMTs
to join our highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team as we
provide excellent quality care to over 68,000 patients of all ages
annually. What You\'ll Do: As an EMT you play a direct role in saving
the lives of our patients each day by serving our patients in a safe
environment promoting long-term recovery. In this department, EMTs are
expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional
aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a professional
multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory
Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers. Emergency
Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy,
patient-centered environment providing excellent quality care to over
68,000 patients of all ages annually. This department consists of 45
total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five
resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral
Health rooms. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and
surgical services. We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7
neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7
interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency
Services is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the
department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to
find anywhere else in the nation. In 2023, we also were an Emergency
Nurses Association (ENA) Lantern Award recipient. What\'s Available:
Part-time, 64 hours biweekly (0.8 FTE). Will orientate/train as close to
full-time as possible 8hr evening shifts (3p-11p) with every other
weekend/holiday rotation Starting pay of \$17.24/hr and up, based on
your years of experience, with generous shift/weekend/holiday
differentials What You\'ll Need: High School Diploma or equivalency
Valid NREMT or WI EMT-B Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for
Health Care Providers Prior work experience in an emergency or
