Job Summary
The coordinator will work with technicians, the lead coordinator, and mitigation supervisor to provide outstanding customer service. This position includes scheduling all employees and subcontractors for daily work and any after-hours calls, notifying the client of work that needs to be performed the day before, setting up the job & maintaining job information in our software program on a daily basis. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Intake and response to new emergency leads of Water, Fire, Smoke 
  • Assess damages, Gain approvals for projects from carriers/customers.
  • Coordinates and supervises emergency work 
  • Perform emergency extraction of water from various surfaces 
  • Provide assistance including but not limited to removal of all affected building materials.
  • Manage Technicians daily scheduling and responsibilities
  • Maintain drying equipment and supplies in production vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment to 1-800 Water Damage standards
  • Operates a company vehicle equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work sites
  • Provides exceptional customer service, treat customer’s property and contents with respect and care 
  • Effectively communicate with customers and management
  • Update job progress and  documentation of communication from insurance and customer.
  • Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections       
  • Other duties as assigned by the management
 
Qualifications
 
  • Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
  • 2+ years experience of water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleaning with a reputable company in the industry.
  • Must have a valid NC Driver’s License and possess a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and to understand and carry out written and/or oral instructions
  • Exceptional  problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.) 
  • Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Must be able to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces such as crawls spaces, attics 
  • Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
  • IICRC Certifications are Plus
  • Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Willing to work nights and weekends when requested
  • Periodic travel
Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
