Job Description
TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE II, Biological Engineering (BE), to join a team in the laboratory of Dr. Linda Griffith, for a “Humanizing Biomedical Research” collaboration with several academic and industry partners. The lab built internationally recognized human “organs on chips” platforms (microphysiological systems) to model human diseases in the lab, including liver, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and chronic infection. A major emphasis of its current work is incorporation of immunological features and translation into the commercial space with industry partners. Seek a self-motivated person whose position’s primary responsibility is to provide technical support to a diverse team of students and postdocs who are developing 3D tissue models for humanizing drug development and integration of tissue structures (especially liver) into microfluidic organs-on-chips.
