We are seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate for our client - a building materials company located in New Holland, PA.  The Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate will provide excellent customer service while coordinating with the drivers, sales team and warehouse personnel to meet the needs of the customers.

The Counter Sales Rep will be responsible for the following:

• Meeting with walk-in customers to determine the proper building materials needed for projects
• Creating quotes for customers
• Taking payments
• Following up with customers 
• Showing and explaining the building materials in the showroom 
• Upselling 
• Offering excellent customer service
• Answering phones and responding to emails

The Counter Sales Rep must meet the following requirements:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of building materials preferred
• Customer Service and/or sales experience required
• Ability to type 35+ words per minute
• Customer Service / Sales oriented - must be comfortable selling and speaking with customers via the phone, email and in-person
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist customers with loading products into their vehicles
• Valid Driver's license
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check
