The Associate Product Manager, High Voltage will work out of either our Sylmar, CA or Austin, TX locations in the CRM division.
Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management Global Downstream Marketing is looking for a strong leader that wants to make a difference in the newly formed USA Marketing team. In this role, you will own the commercialized Low-Voltage and ICM CRM portfolio, drive share acquisition through strategic initiatives, and play an integral part in future product launch execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage downstream HV product marketing for the U.S. market, providing marketing strategy, guidance, and support.
o Generate expert level brand, market, and competitive analyses
o Develop annual marketing plans to grow product sales, profit, and share
o Create and execute marketing campaigns that generate measurable wins
o Collaborate with DVP, AVPs, and R.D.s to create a unified strategy and cohesive tactical execution plans
o Work closely with the U.S. Commercial team & Finance to ensure alignment
o Gain buy-in from commercial leadership and ensure execution of marketing plans
o Forecast product demand and sales for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning
o Create competitive marketing strategies and tactics that defend and take share
o Collaborate with the CRM Education team to develop, implement, and update product training for the sales force on an ongoing basis
o Collaborate with the CRM Education team to generate strategic opportunities for KOL and AHP engagement
o Collaborate with the CRM Marketing Communications team to ensure best-in-class collateral development for supporting sales execution
- Lead new HV product launches
o Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of product launch plans and critical milestones
o Identify product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging in conjunction with the Marketing Communications team
o Collaborate with Upstream Marketing counterparts to provide market insights and condition the market for product launches
o Identify market entry strategies with the Reimbursement team
o Develop podium and publication plans with the Clinical team
o Create market development plans with global marketing teams
o Work with the education team in developing field and physician training plans and ensure optimal training execution
o Create and align the go-to-market strategy with Commercial leadership, including key performance indicators, segmentation, and account/customer targeting
o Forecast launch demand to ensure adequate product supply
o Develop KOL strategy and create physician champions for the product
o Collaborate with Public Affairs in deciding and executing appropriate media communications
o Track and report launch progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders regularly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years in medical device product marketing or 4 years Cardiac Rhythm Management sales + MBA
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities required
- Must know how to Win Friends & Influence People
- Must be proactive and results oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications
Preferred Experience
- MBA strongly preferred
- Class III device product launch experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
