Search Specialist (English, Arabic)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring digital advertising campaigns and providing client solutions
  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience in a client-facing role working with partners across multiple levels
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media
  • Experience in campaign management for Google Ads (e.g. Search)
  • Ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts, deliverables, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions, supported by internal teams

gTech Global Customer Care (gGCC) is a solution-generating effort that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services and improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh.

Our Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. As advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms, the teams are situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age.

As a Search Specialist, you will own the search advertising strategy for key clients across the entire business cycle for clients supported in the MENA market. You will drive search excellence with the LCS teams through pitching and activating new products to drive performance. With a specialism of solutions and our clients’ business objectives, you will advise them on growing their business and maximizing return on their marketing investment. You will also act as an advisor and consultant who works across functions and alongside global teams, as well as a client advocate within Google.

Responsibilities

  • Complete extensive training to become an expert in Google’s product suite.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the market, industry, products, and tools, in preparation to offer the best solution for our clients' business challenges.
  • Dive into the client’s business objectives and work with them to lead the conversation on a holistic media strategy to drive performance and the right investment.
  • Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short and long-term account growth.
  • Drive conversations on Google Ads (Search) and measurement and attribution along with the Measurement and Attribution specialists.
