Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire on a Construction Electrical Estimator for a large steel manufacturing company here in the Charlotte, NC area. This role will be onsite in the office but will require anywhere from 25-50% travel throughout the US to construction sites, engineer/contractor offices as well as plants. The Construction Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing project estimates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Work with project teams to develop Electrical Equipment, Materials & Install estimates for Large Industrial/Commercial Capital Projects

- Developing and maintaining electrical estimate database

- Setup and manage electrical estimate reconciliation process.

- Communicate with contractor and engineering teams for projects.

- Attend various meetings with project teams

- Help communicate deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-5 years of construction project cost experience

- Knowledge of the construction industry

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management

- Previous estimation experience

- Proficient within Microsoft Office

- Great written and verbal communication

- Flexibility and adaptability

- Willing to travel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Macro experience within excel

- PowerBI

- RS Means or other cost estimating tool experience

- Industrial manufacturing experience

- Steel manufacturing experience
