Job Details

Responsible for developing bid package proposals and managing budgets for Durr’s proprietary EcoPaint robot technology for automated application of paint, sealants, and adhesive on current and upcoming projects; create plan views, elevations, cross sections of systems, and equipment layouts using Durr’s EcoPump technology, Eco gluing and sealing applications, and EcoPaint robots; utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, CATIA, SolidWorks, NavisWorks, 2D and 3D technical drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), project management, SAP, and GD&T to perform duties; design fluid and pneumatic control circuits; calculate pneumatic and fluid pressure drop and flow rates; create plan views, elevation and cross sections of system and equipment layouts; design mechanical assemblies and detail parts of assemblies for manufacture; create bill of materials (BOM); create work orders and/or purchase requests for manufacturing of assemblies and systems; and release engineering drawings and mechanical designs.

Location: Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $104,537 per year;

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as an Engineering Coordinator, as a Mechanical Engineer, as a Project Engineer, as a Project Manager, or in a related occupation;
