Join a company that continues to grow in the aerospace, power
generation, and defense industries. We are looking for an experienced
Manufacturing Engineer that applies their knowledge of sheet metal
forming to assist with the launch of new products and the continuous
improvement of existing products by contributing to the design and
development of manufacturing processes that meet Ace Precision\'s cost,
quality, delivery, and safety goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies advanced understanding of engineering
principles, such as mechanics, metallurgy, thermodynamics, statistics,
physics, and established methodologies to perform defined portions of
broader engineering projects, within cost, quality, delivery, and safety
constraints. Demonstrates knowledge in sheet metal forming, such as deep
draw hydroforming, expanding, hydraulic presses, brake presses, roll
forming, including heat treating. Plans, schedules, and coordinates
engineering projects using project management tools. Applies lean and
Six Sigma methodologies to identify, support, and lead process
validation, continuous improvement, and waste reduction projects.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing information and trends. Makes strategic recommendations for
future actions. Creates complex manufacturing sketches or routings per
customer specifications and Company standards. Issues Engineering Change
Notice to updates routings, sketches, and work instructions to account
for process changes. Documents clear and technically accurate
explanations for all project and process changes. Responds to internal
customers in a timely manner and supports all efforts to ensure products
meet customer requirements. Dispositions product and any rework that may
result. Effectively discusses matters related to highly complex projects
with Project Engineering Managers, Sales team, production personnel, and
other Company stakeholders. Utilizes time management and organizational
skills to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time. Travels
occasionally to meet with and better serve external customers. Proceeds
under general supervision. Maintains or exceeds production standards
through efficient organization and planning. Demonstrates thorough
knowledge and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work
instruction requirements that govern Engineering operations. Follows and
complies with safety policies and procedures. Accurately completes all
required documentation. Meets attendance policy requirements.
Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.
