We are seeking a Psychiatristto join our team at our NEW Behavioral Health Urgent Care location in the Philadelphia, PA 19129 area.
Position Details
Psychiatrist should be qualified in the mental health profession, and possesses the clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and collaborate treatment and rehabilitation.  This individual will be the clinical leader and work in conjunction with other staff to assure the highest quality of care to the consumers.
The Psychiatrist will:
provide psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and care to individuals experiencing urgent behavioral health needs.
supervises the Certified Nurse Practitioners and
work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary BHUCC team to assess and manage urgent behavioral health needs
ensure the delivery of high-quality and compassionate services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
Valid state medical license and DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
Experience in crisis intervention, emergency psychiatry, or urgent care settings is preferred.
Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatments and interventions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and empathy in working with patients and their families.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Must be available to work full-time hours onsite.
