CEO is seeking a Universal Pre-K Teacher at School 12 in Troy NY. The UPK Teacher should be proactive, professional and a team player. This position requires a strong school setting and teaching background.

Our UPK Teachers:

Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for preschool children, meeting UPK School District requirements (including Common Core Standards).
Use age-appropriate and positive guidance strategies to teach, encourage, and redirect inappropriate classroom behavior.
Build relationships with staff and families through positive and professional communication, creating a welcoming environment, respecting diversity, and encouraging parent participation in the program.
Work collaboratively with teacher assistants and service providers


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
A New York State certification in Pre-Kindergarten (General Ed. Or Special Ed) or ability to obtain NYS certification through a plan of study
Experience teaching preschool-age children
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S without the need for Visa Sponsorship.
