Objectives of the Position:
Support business development in China from legal and compliance perspective for both emissions catalysts and metal businesses.
Main Tasks:
- Handling corporate matters for ECMS China including routine JV & WOFE secretariat work, potential M&A/JV projects
- Advising general legal matters like employment, permit and licensing, advertising, regulatory, communication, etc.
- Drafting and reviewing various contracts (NDA, Sales contract, service contract, etc.) and other legal documents
- Conducting compliance training & investigation, advising on common topics like data protection, anti-trust, anti-bribery
- Dispute management including litigation and arbitration
- Supporting to APAC GC and working with legal colleagues outside China, coordinating with external law firm.
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position:
- Education: Master of law from reputable law school
- Working Experience: 5-7 years in reputable law firm or legal department of MNC
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Uniform Judicial Examination passed
