Job Description: |
Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Perley, MN. From: 04/25/2025 - 11/30/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Overtime possible. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at time and a half.

JOB DUTIES: Farm Machinery Operation: Drive and operate farm machinery to cultivate, plant, harvest, and store grain crops. Attach and detach farm implements such as plows, discs, and drills to tractors. Set up, calibrate, and optimize equipment to perform operations as needed. Equipment Maintenance: Perform general lubrication and service checks (e.g., check fluids) on farm machinery. Conduct mechanical repairs to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Transportation: Transport produce, water, and supplies to fields, elevators, and/or storage locations. Per state regulations, no commercial CDL is required for farm trucking. No heavy truck driving that requires CDL is involved. An Operator License Class D is required; candidates will have 60 days to obtain this license. Manual Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks including upkeep and maintenance of farm facilities. Assist with general farm duties such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the farm environment and facilities. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding work hours and breaks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience, able to lift 60 lbs., regular Class D driver's license, able to perform work that requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, and frequent stooping. No HS Diploma/GED required.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
ESST (Earned Sick and Safe Time): Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
