Job Description:
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Graceville, MN.
From: 03/01/2024 to 12/01/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day
Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.

JOB DUTIES: Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Walk fields to pull weeds; Pick rocks; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn, hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools.
Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm’s operation. Employer may, at the company's sole discretion, pay workers an hourly rate above the minimum required and/or offer a bonus to any seasonal worker employed pursuant to this job order depending on how many years of experience they have obtained by working for the employer or other factors such as work performance, skill, punctuality, licensing, training, prior work experience, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months recent and verifiable experience for the job duties listed; must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.; able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements; must be able to obtain a non-CDL driver's license after hire and obtain a clean driving record. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
