Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with performance analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with hardware and accelerators (e.g., GPU, TPU, DSP).
- Experience in power and performance analysis and optimization.
- Experience in digital signal processing, including image and speech.
- Experience in developing android tests and applications.
- Experience in building embedded system software stack.
- Understanding of android software and hardware architectures.

In this role, you will work across applications, operating systems, firmware, and hardware architecture to elevate the capabilities of our next-generation System-on-a-Chip (SoCs). You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to maximizing the performance of Pixel devices. You will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers to understand the power and performance requirements and ensure the SoC delivers consistently exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize software solutions (i.e., prototypes and production-ready) for Google SoCs, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to the architectural design of future Google SoCs, leveraging software optimization expertise to shape hardware/software integration for enhanced user experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and productize SoC designs, ensuring seamless hardware-software synergy and addressing real-world user needs.
- Research the latest technological advancements and integrate them into software optimization strategies.
