families navigate the financial journey of starting a family? Gundersen
Health System is seeking a full time Financial Counselor to join our
team to support our OB/ Fertility Department. In this unique role,
you\'ll provide compassionate financial guidance and support to
individuals and couples seeking fertility treatments and family planning
services. In this role you will: Meet with patients and families to
understand their financial situations and insurance coverage. Explain
hospital billing and estimated costs Ensuring staff is collecting
pre-payments for fertility services Collaborating with clinical staff
and patients effectively Maintain accurate and confidential patient
financial records What\'s Available: 40 hours/week (1.0 FTE) Location
onsite in La Crosse, WI Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Starting pay of
\$17.81/hour and up, based on your years of experience What You\'ll
Need: High school diploma or equivalency 1 year work experience,
preferably working in a medical facility, insurance company, or office
setting. Excellent customer service skills An ideal candidate will be
