UW Medical Center - Montlake Transplant has an outstanding opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (ARNP/PA) to join our Transplant Team.

WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week
Day Shift
Monday-Friday

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The Advanced Practice Provider will provide specialized care for transplant patients and family assessment for liver care.  This is a great opportunity to join our interdisciplinary collaborative team of outstanding providers.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct initial consults, as well as follow-up visits for patients.
  • With keen attention to the specific needs of patients, deliver excellent care, with compassion, motivation, and sound medical knowledge.
  • Coordinate and monitor patients' status in conjunction with attending physicians, social workers, and other providers.
  • Respond to patients' healthcare needs, providing triage, urgent care and interventions as necessary/appropriate.
  • Follow patients, including longitudinal care and follow-up, in conjunction with other providers.

    REQUIREMENTS
  • Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA.
  • Current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse Licensure and ARNP Licensure or Physician Assistant License.
  • Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduate of an accredited PA program.
  • Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in patient care.
  • Experience in the provision of transplant services including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients.
