industries and technologies of the future. POSITION OVERVIEW: The
Regional AWS Certified Welding Engineer is responsible for supporting
the Welding processes and initiatives across the Wisconsin plants.
Working directly with manufacturing engineers, quality, and operations
teams in the design, development, and maintenance of welded parts,
welding processes, and welding systems. These initiatives are crucial to
developing our employees, delivering business results and exceeding our
customer\'s expectations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Lead the
development, deployment, management, and continuous improvement of our
weld quality and systems. Determine the most suitable welding processes,
tools, and techniques. Lead Regional and Plant initiatives to ensure
successful delivery of various initiatives. Develop Weld Procedure
Sheets (WPS) and Process Quality Records (PQR) for Wisconsin Plants.
Provides support for DQR/quoting new products. Combine engineering
principles to create strong, efficient welded structures, components,
and products. Research and develop improved welding techniques, modify
welding equipment, and ensure quality control for a range of materials
joining actviites. Ensure welding processes meet the acceptance criteria
of specific code, standard, or other specifications. Responsible for
overseeing the inspection of weld quality, workmanship, and conformance
to specifications, including visual/physical and field testing to verify
conformance with the plans and specifications. Operating test equipment
for radiography, and other non-destructive testing methods Creating CAD
drawings, models, and layouts Adhere to strict safety standards Follows
safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all
