Job Description | The instructional designer will collaborate with faculty on the design and development of curricula and coach faculty on topics related to learning design, effective teaching practices, and technology integration in all modes of instructional delivery. This position is contract and project-based. Applicants must be able to provide their own tools (computer hardware and software, internet connectivity, telephony, etc.) to be able to accomplish instructional design projects. While temporary space may be provided for face-to-face meetings, contract instructional designers will primarily be responsible for providing their own physical work space. |
Job Duties | 1. Coach faculty on instructional design principles and processes, effective teaching practices, and the appropriate use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.
2. Design and develop media-rich instructional materials.
