As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages while always maintaining patient safety. You will be joining a close-knit, hardworking, and supportive team of caregivers that prioritizes quality patient care.
A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00PM – 11:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of having MRI examination.
- Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
- Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams.
- Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
- Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility.
- Processes billing via RIS.
- Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
- Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) or R.T.(S)(ARRT), or R.T.(T)(ARRT), in good standing OR Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(N) (ARRT) OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.T.(MR)(ARRT) certification within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or other imaging modalities

Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight
- Manipulating equipment daily
- Frequent pushing and pulling of equipment up to 75 pounds
