General Job Description | ,Performs routine repetitive work involving cleaning and housekeeping duties in university buildings. Work involves closely supervised cleaning and housekeeping duties. Employees are subject to daily changes in assignment and work is reviewed periodically by observation of results obtained. Work is supervised by the Associate Director of Physical Plant, Manager of Custodial Services, Manager of Residence Life Operations, Custodial Foreperson and Custodial Leadperson. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Demands | Ability to work long hours while standing and to withstand the physical strain of cleaning work. Physical ability to perform a variety of routine manual tasks in the care, cleaning, and general maintenance of buildings and equipment. |
Required Education | Must have attained an educational level sufficient to read, write, and perform simple calculations. |
Required Experience and Training | Experience not necessary; must be willing to learn and work. |
