    We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Software QA Tester to join our dynamic technology team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Software QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software that exceeds user expectations.


    Responsibilities:

    Thoroughly analyze software requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

    Execute various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.

    Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

    Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software functionality and resolve issues.

    Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress - specify relevant tools).

    Perform manual testing when necessary to cover areas not suitable for automation.

    Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports on software quality.

    Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other agile ceremonies.

    Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.

    Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

    • At least 5 years of experience in manual software testing and IT analysis.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related field.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues effectively.

    • Proficiency in creating and executing detailed test scripts.

    • Familiarity with defect logging and tracking tools.
