Job Description

 
Position Overview: This role will focus on developing and supporting community connections, including volunteer opportunities, mentors, and long-term aftercare resources, including in-kind contributions for children and families. Specific responsibilities include the administration and execution of the mentoring process and support of the Volunteer and In-kind activities, including but not limited to service events, coordination of donations, volunteers, and seasonal events that support children and families. Position Qualifications: MSW with 1 year of experience in Child Welfare services preferred, or a BA with 3 years of experience in Child Welfare services preferred. Excellent interviewing and assessment skills. Ability to communicate competently and confidently with diverse groups of people, including presentations to large groups. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Detail-oriented, Self-Starter and results-driven. Positive, action-oriented attitude showing initiative, independent thinking, and sound judgement. Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and CRM tools. Social Media proficiency. Flexibility to work on weekends, if needed. Passion for impacting a youths life. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in both Westchester and the 5 Boroughs. Valid Drivers License required.
