To coordinate the aspects of the Rapid Response program in conjunction with the ELRC 3 and the licensed childcare programs within the area. To facilitate identification and resourcing for children with behavioral issues.   

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide short term support to the ECE workforce and families, and create a plan for warm handoffs
  • Develop an application for childcare staff to identify behaviors and have the team respond within 48 business hours to any ECE program.
  • Facilitate the development of a case based collaborative plan of action.
  • Provide efficient warm handoffs to additional community support as necessary.
  • Identify key community organizations and programs that can support the mission of the rapid response team.
  • Work with region 3 of the ELRC to identify all the licensed childcare facilities including key contacts.
  • Initiate the collaboration with Glade Run to establish their support position and coordinate their training function as well.
  • Coordinate with the ELRC region 3 to create the RRT team.
  • Create the 6-month plan for the RRT and create a schedule for planning and initiation in August to September of 2024
  • Facilitate the RRT program in conjunction with the program supervisor and other key staff of Early Learning Connections
  • All other duties as requested by your supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Background / knowledge in child development  
  • Background / knowledge in child and classroom observations  
  • Background / knowledge in child assessments 
  • Experience working in or with Child Care Facilities or other related Early Ed. Programming
  • Basic knowledge in EI and MH/BH systems in our region of 5 counties 
  • Ability to develop PD through PQAS system (just a consideration, not necessary) 
  • Focus or skilled at relationship building. 
  • Detail Oriented involving data collection and reporting requirements of RRT 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Two or more years of experience in case management or coordination of essential services for early education.
  • A bachelor’s degree required ; master degree preferred.
