JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Areas of Accountability :

  • Leading the conceptualization and execution of market access strategies and projects, ensuring timely progress, tracking & reporting for successful completion
  • Constantly collaborate with key stakeholders to keep abreast and update guidelines and public health programs, in order to increase adoption of RMDx products
  • Taking the lead in informing and shaping opinion regarding the value of RMDx IDEM products within the health community.
  • Propose and secure reimbursement for products through timely preparation of submissions, effective understanding of local processes and networking with key stakeholders in the national health agencies.
  • Proactively monitor external environment, customers and competitors to identify opportunities for protecting and improving value capture.
  • Optimize payer value proposition and pricing policy.
  • Identify & engage with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), scientific & community leaders, policy-makers, payers and other stakeholders to establish strong relationships and enable wider access of rapid diagnostic tests in the Philippines
  • Coordinate and update key internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution of the market access strategy, highlighting risks and support whenever required
  • Proactively monitor trends and identify opportunities or challenges for access/reimbursement/funding/pricing/tenders/guidelines related policies. Share knowledge and implications to the business throughout own stakeholder network.
  • Regularly map and update the access & funding environment and pathways relevant to Philippine Healthcare system and rapid diagnostic business

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of healthcare industry experience (diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical), with high customer interaction and market access & pricing experience
  • Good understanding of Healthcare, public health & NGOs operations, the internal and external policies and environment in the Philippines
  • Experienced professional individual contributor that can work under minimal supervision
  • Applies subject matter knowledge in the area of Market Access
  • Familiarity and relationships with NGOs, DOH, regulatory agency, medical facilities, associations, public health policy advisors and payers
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels in the organization and with external customers
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Track-record of timely and high-quality project delivery

Competencies required:

  • Proficient skills in MS Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication; structured presentation skills

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably Science
  • MBA degree, an advantage
