This role will drive and evolve the planning and analysis functions by providing more significant and insightful business analytics that better support to the business through FP&A. This will also include client profitability development and analytics, due diligence data collection, review, and analysis that support any potential transactions the company undertakes, and overall product management around the FP&A technology development. The successful candidate will have a "get it done" mindset and will demonstrate a close connection to the team and businesses. This person will operate at both the strategic and tactical level and must be comfortable with both leading and doing.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Formulate the business requirement into technical data analytics problem
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business problems/challenges
  • Identify valuable data sources and automate data processes
  • Experience in processing of structured and unstructured data for the analytics use cases
  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Build apt predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to solve the business problems
  • Combine models through ensemble modeling methods
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Serve as a liaison between the technology development, infrastructure and support departments, technology business units, corporate finance teams, to enable technological and data transformation
  • Maintenance and ownership of all FP&A data and technology in conjunction with the Head of Financial Systems
  • Maintain standards and coordinate with divisional groups to obtain financial and operational performance
  • Conduct regular meetings with Head of Global FP&A to track progress, review performance metrics, and determine appropriateness of current projects and products
  • Bring new thinking and focus on continually developing information, trends, and instincts to help predict issues before they occur
  • Perform ad-hoc requests and projects to support operational and strategic business decisions as needed
  • Act as a project manager and a business analyst equally to drive projects to completion within budget and on schedule
  • Other activities as may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial engineering, applied analytics, Strategic Finance, or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Masters in any of the above a plus
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.
  • 8+ years of data analytics, financial systems, financial modeling, including prior hands-on experience with $25+ million budgets for technology product development and infrastructure support business initiatives strongly preferred
  • Experience with finance or operations for technology companies including capitalized software, technology development project modeling, technology infrastructure (e.g. communications, network, computer equipment, SaaS in the cloud) and being in a rapidly growing company via acquisitions and organic growth is preferred
  • Progressive experience with FP&A technology, data management, reporting, analytics, modelling & presenting information using data visualization techniques using statistical methods
  • High proficiency of technical ability across tech stack from data lakes to UI experience on FP&A platforms, and BI tools for visualization
  • Solid knowledge of major general ledger systems, GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) as well as financial concepts (IRR analyses, DCFs, etc.)
  • Experience as a technology lead within a finance organization that can access and leverage complex, multi-product company data to support and help evaluate acquisitions, dispositions, and/or business combinations
  • Experience with a tech stack that includes, Workday, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, and other point solutions
  • Experience with Python, R, PySpark, Sharepoint, Tableau, databricks, SQL, data lakes and system architecture planning
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to effectively present to all levels of management, including corporate C-Suite executives
  • Have strong analytical ability, good judgment, problem-solving abilities, and be strategically minded with a strong attention to detail
  • Be able to deal with ambiguities effectively and manage multiple projects through completion, often under tight deadlines, with frequently changing priorities and minimal supervision
  • Possess the ability to structure and develop complex financial analyses
  • Providing decision support for a range of projects, investments, and strategic initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel including Power Query & Power Pivot
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power Suite (Automate, BI, etc.)
  • Travel will be required to other Company offices as needed to build/enhance key business relationships

  • The employee may be required to report to a different local office as a normal, contemplated, and mandated incident of their employment

The annual full time base salary range for this role is ($95,000 - $170,000). Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.  All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
