Day Job Category Manufacturing Description POSITION: Material Handler
REPORTS TO: Production Manager JOB SUMMARY: Performs various functions
to assist assemblers and/or machine operators to ensure they have the
required components to complete production of finished goods. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures boxes are assembled and labeled
with proper identification according to the shop order in process.
Verifies components are available for assemblers and/or machine
operators. Moves finished goods to the finished goods area when the
pallet is completed according to the shop order. Processes Shipping
Paperwork, Sets up Machines, and Unloads trucks with a pallet jack.
Ensures assemblers/machine operators have the correct raw materials to
complete their task. Performs all other duties as directed.
Qualifications Qualifications- To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

skill, and/or ability required. \* Basic math skills are essential. \*
Basic computer skills are essential. \* Must be able to read and write.
\* Can effectively move raw materials, and finished goods to the proper
areas. \* Ability to determine when raw materials are the correct items
for any given shop order. \* Ensuring all RTS (Return to Stock) and
nonconforming items are put in their proper location with the proper
paperwork. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully
perform the essential functions of this job. \* Sitting and standing for
long periods of time \* Bending, stooping, turning, twisting, kneeling,
and pushing and pulling. \* Lifting up to 50 lbs. \* Must be able to
move pallets of finished goods when necessary. Work Environment: The

this job. \* Light to moderate noise levels \* Moderate to high light
