The Principal Engineering Program Manager will utilize their expertise to oversee contract and license management, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and specifications. They will assess potential financial impacts and provide insights on cost management strategies. Additionally, the role will involve mitigating vendor risks by working with technology teams to ensure technical capabilities, conducting vendor audits, and implementing necessary corrective actions. This role will provide use cases and requirements to reporting teams to ensure data is accurately represented and consumable. Collaborating with Data Engineering and Software Engineering counterparts, the Principal Engineering Program Manager will define and drive the development of enterprise services that align with the organization's engineering goals. To effectively meet financial goals, the Principal Engineering Program Manager will collaborate with the Finance department to scrutinize multiple funding models offered by vendors. They will create bridging models that display expenditure for specific timeframes, factoring in license models, anticipated changes, upcoming needs, and other pertinent engineering considerations.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent educ/experience.
8 years of related experience; 8-12 years preferred.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of vendor contracting experience
Experience in Software Asset Management
Master's Degree
Experience in a Healthcare environment
