Responsibilities




* Monitors entrance to the Wellness Center. Provides general orientation, instruction, and guidance to members. Maintains member attendance records.
* Manages and communicates inventory of towels, shower gels, personal hygiene products, fitness wipes, cups, and other related supplies.
* Monitors Wellness Center and Group Fitness Studio to ensure safety, function, and cleanliness. Maintains condition of all fitness equipment and reports suggested service remedies. Cleans fitness equipment and ensures locker rooms, group fitness studio, and Wellness Center are being properly cleaned by vendor.
* Leads group fitness classes. Creates and promotes fitness challenges to enhance staff well-being. Provides individual fitness assessments to NCH employees.


Qualifications




Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Certifications:
* Professional certification from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) such as: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), or National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT) or American Council on Exercise (ACE), or National Strength and Conditioning Association - Personal Trainer (NSCA-PT), required.
* Current Adult CPR/AED certification that has a practical skills examination component (such as the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross); and First Aid certification, required.
* Nationally Certified Group Fitness Instructor preferred or must be willing to acquire within three months of hire date, required.

Experience:
* Work-related experience within employee wellness and/or the health and fitness field, required.
* 3 years of experience in the worksite wellness-fitness field or minimum of 3 years personal training work experience in a fitness center, or other similar environment working with adults, required.
