PT & Per Diem Security Guards, Dunkirk & Jamestown, NY Openings in Dunkirk area and Jamestown area Guards must be a NYS Certified Security Guard or be willing to be trained to receive their certification and pass a Criminal Background Check. Duties include but not limited to: providing excellent customer service, performing checks of buildings and the surroundings outside the job site if required, operating a hand-held metal detection wand, operating a walk through metal detector, checking visitors into a secure facility, maintaining order, reporting any and all shift reports, must possess basic knowledge of utilizing a cell phone, etc. $16.00-$18.00/hour depending on experience. Subject to drug screening, medical exam, reference and criminal background check. Southern Tier Security is a training school as well and can train any new guards as a NYS Certified Security Guard.
