Job Description

Day-to-day:

As an Audio/Visual Technician, you will take the lead in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex audio/visual systems, ensuring top-notch quality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess significant technical expertise in A/V system integration, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to delivering outstanding service.



Responsibilities:

* Lead the installation and configuration of advanced audio/visual systems, encompassing components such as projectors, displays, sound systems, and control interfaces.

* Independently troubleshoot and repair intricate A/V system elements to uphold optimal performance standards.

* Collaborate with project teams to interpret project plans, specifications, and equipment needs, ensuring seamless integration of A/V systems.

* Guide and support junior technicians in installing, configuring, and maintaining A/V systems, fostering their professional development.

* Perform comprehensive testing and quality assurance to guarantee adherence to industry standards and client requirements.

* Offer technical expertise and assistance to team members, addressing any technical hurdles they encounter.

* Maintain meticulous documentation of installations, including system configurations, schematics, and testing outcomes.

* Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance A/V system performance and client satisfaction.

* Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within designated timelines and budgetary constraints.

* Provide training and mentorship to less experienced technicians, nurturing their expertise in A/V system integration.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience needed: 3+ years of experience working within Audio/Visual work



Must-Haves:

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications related to audio/visual systems are desirable.

* Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced audio/visual systems.

* Profound knowledge of A/V technologies, including projectors, displays, audio systems, and control interfaces.

* Exceptional technical skills and the capacity to independently resolve complex technical issues.

* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members.

* Familiarity with project plans, specifications, schematics, and relevant industry regulations.

* Impeccable attention to detail and organizational prowess to uphold accurate documentation standards.

* Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

* Physical capability to lift and transport equipment, ascend ladders, and execute installation tasks in diverse environments.

* Ability to work autonomously and efficiently, managing multiple projects concurrently.
