Psychology Resident - Philhaven - Days

Location: WellSpan Philhaven, Lebanon, PA
Schedule: Full Time

Full time (80 hours biweekly)

Weekday, daytime hours

General Summary

Provides psychological services under clinical supervision per relevant psychology licensing laws.

  • Provides assessments in a multidisciplinary environment, to make recommendations for diagnosis (DSM, ICD) and interventions.
  • Conducts individual, couples, family and/or group therapy sessions as appropriate. Formulates and updates treatment plans and modifies treatment accordingly.
  • Provides all necessary documentation to reflect patient care status and to meet regulatory requirements, completing documentation within organizational timeframes.
  • Selects, administers and interprets psychological tests and writes psychological reports. Shares results with clients, referral sources and other relevant parties.
  • Coordinates care of assigned patients with treatment team members and other providers, agencies or referral sources as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates conduct that is ethical and professional. Operates within relevant laws.
  • Responds sensitively to issues of individual and cultural diversity in practice.
  • Complies with WellSpan Health Code of Conduct.

Minimum Education:

  • Doctorate From psychology educational program and completion of a one-year doctoral psychology internship program. Required

Work Experience:

  • 1 year Psychology internship training experience. Required

Courses and Training:

  • Must have completed a psychology doctoral degree and one-year doctoral psychology internship program. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must provide clearance per the Child Protective Services Law amended by PA Act 33 of 1985. Upon Hire Required
