Overview

Performs start up, shutdown, and set-up tasks on machinery as needed for the production of finished component. Responsible for manufacturing product under our quality management system. Responsible to ensure products are being manufactured under CPT business practices while adhering to our quality policy statement. Inspection of manufactured product using metrology, prints, and work instructions in accordance with our quality management system. Ensures all product met quality standards prior to shipment internally and externally.
 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manufactures product per leadership directives.
  • Duties/Responsibilities include the physical processing of product and strict adherence to quality system guidelines (i.e. QS procedures, specifications and drawings).
  • Similarly, the employee is required to document work activities in accordance with stated procedures.
  • Follows detailed instructions and procedures to perform the inspection of manufactured product.
  • Required to use metrology equipment such as calibers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure product meets specification.
  • Required to read product blueprints to clearly identify product specification.
  • Responsible for documenting inspection results based on statistical sampling plans.
  • Maintains a work environment and workstation consistent with stated standards.
  • Adheres to applicable 6S standards.
  • Duties include organizing, removing un-needed items, cleaning, and sustaining assigned work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Technical School certifications and/or college level technical degree is preferred

• Basic experience using Microsoft Office is required
