The Construction Scheduler Role is Full-Time, Rochester, MN
As a Construction Scheduler at McGough, you'll be the conductor of project timelines, orchestrating every detail to perfection. Your primary mission? Developing and maintaining schedules for our commercial construction projects, using advanced scheduling techniques and innovative planning systems.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- A four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling or project management.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.
Preferred:
- 4+ years of Construction Industry experience.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with Lean construction practices and pull planning.
- Experience in cost management, budget control, forecasting, and trending.
What you will be doing:
- Develop detailed construction schedules using advanced scheduling tools.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to define scope of work and update schedules accordingly.
- Gather and integrate weekly work plans from subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
- Identify and manage project constraints, analyzing progress and performance.
- Actively participate in Lean events, supporting our commitment to continuous improvement.
Office and Travel:
Get ready to hit the road - this role involves travel to project sites across the nation. Whether you're working remotely, in a hybrid setup, or onsite, you'll find yourself immersed in exciting construction environments from coast to coast.
