An individual in this position must possess the proficiency, wherewithal and knowledge of principles and processes for providing high-quality service to both internal and external constituents of the College.

Distinguishing Characteristics | The individual in this position provides reference service at the Information Desk. The individual in this position must cooperate as a team member with the library staff in performing duties essential to efficient library operations. Because the duties of this position require personal interactions with students, faculty, administration, staff, and vendors, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. |
Education/Training | Bachelor’s degree, and must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited institution |
Experience | Reference service experience or training is required. Experience and background in an integrated online environment required. Experience and background in electronic information resources is required. |
