Overview

Mercy Radiology Group, a Radiology group based in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Breast Imaging Radiologist.

Compensation package includes:

  • Shareholder track opportunity with very competitive compensation and bonus potential

Compensation Range: $400,000 - $600,000 / Year

Mercy Radiology Group is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to Redding, CA and nearby communities. Mercy Medical Center Redding's Imaging Department is staffed by experienced radiologists and certified radiologic technologists. The staff has been trained using the latest diagnostic equipment and is able to deliver fast and accurate results so patients have a diagnosis as early as possible.

We have more than 50 radiologists in Mercy Radiology Group, Inc., who provide Radiology services at Dignity Health Advanced Imaging locations throughout the greater Sacramento area and North State.

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide clear and concise medical information.
  • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
  • Perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
  • Excellent bedside manner
