EMPLOYER NAME: Addepar, Inc.

POSITION LOCATION: New York, NY

POSITION AVAILABLE: Software Engineer II

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

DESCRIPTION: Build quality software for the company’s core backend financial calculation engine. Design and implement new features and enhancements for the company’s backend systems. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using modern software development practices. Identify and resolve issues in the company’s existing codebase, ensuring the stability and reliability of the company’s systems. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the company’s backend systems to handle increasing data volumes and user demands. Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the company’s systems remain cutting-edge.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2 years of experience architecting scalable APIs, using C# and object-oriented programming principles.
• 2 years of experience triaging and resolving system issues using Splunk and Grafana.
• 2 years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures, using relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• 2 years of experience with messaging queues, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• 2 years of experience with Jenkins, Git, and GitHub for software development and delivery.
• 2 years of experience using Jira in an Agile environment.
• Telecommuting from anywhere in the United States is allowed.

RATE OF PAY: $152,000 to $202,000 per year
