REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressively responsible experience in the SDLC of production systems.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: .NET, C#, SQL, VB.Net and JavaScript; Familiarity with Entity Framework and CRUD operations.
- Experience with TDD and source control tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio.
- Experience working with relational databases with proficiency writing queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Preferably Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience working with older .NET web development technologies like jQuery, ASP.Net MVC, Web Forms, etc. ?
- Experience leading SQL/Database and DevOps initiatives and processes in a continuous delivery environment; knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of UI programming technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks; SOAs and APIs; and IT architectures and technical standards.
- Knowledge of application server operating systems and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to communicate well with all stakeholder levels (technical and non-technical) to understand and address requirements and enhancements.
- Apply industry best practices in the software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps concepts.
- Conduct code/configuration reviews ensuring high quality well documented solutions.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION The salary for this position is between $90,000-$105,000 per year, depending upon factors such as qualifications, experience, skill levels, technical competencies, and other criteria.
