Zebra Technologies in Heerenveen, a global leader in business solutions, is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer capable of implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods. The ideal candidate is capable of designing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of components and finished products.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate data collection to investigate potential non-conformities.

  • Independently conduct activities to support quality execution against key performance indicators.

  • Act as an advisor to less experienced technicians and/or engineers/suppliers in vetting non-conformities.

  • Complete audit training, as required.

  • Understand key quality metrics and current performance levels.

  • Utilize technology to present data and analyses in visually meaningful ways.

  • Assist in building accurate schedules.

  • Resolve a wide range of issues in innovative as well as practical ways.

  • Network with key contacts outside of your area of expertise.

  • Interact with management and external stakeholders on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education/vocational qualification and experience required.

  • Dutch Language is highly preferrable

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Experience with statistical analysis and statistical quality control.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Quality control certification is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with ISO methodology
