Manager is to support client initiatives in creating prototype and
production parts by aligning project requirements with company
profitability. This position will have advanced knowledge of prototyping
processes to understand client expectations and manage projects with
highly technical complexities. This position must also plan, execute,
and deliver aerospace and automotive contracts in collaboration with
engineering, quality, and operation team members. The success of this
position requires the ability to develop strong relationships,
communicate effectively, and keep work organized. Essential Functions
Serve as clients\' main point of contact for prototyping and production
needs via email, phone or in person Research, question, and understand
customer needs to determine project achievability Recommend best
combination of materials and processes based on project, budget, and
timeframe requirements Create proposals and bids for aerospace and
automotive contract opportunities; collaborate with engineering team to
determine costs, technical risks, and competitive pricing points while
maximizing profits Prepare quotes by studying 2D prints, CAD files, and
other documentation; consult with technical personnel to confirm quote
specifications as needed Create and review dimensional 3D analyses to
ensure production parts meet quality standards Liaison between customer
and operations staff, supporting both the customer and internal
operations to determine equally agreed upon solutions that supports the
program Maintain program schedules and present updates to customers for
successful on-time delivery of production contracts Guide purchasing
through procurement of aerospace components and materials that include a
high level of requirements, certifications, and documentation Develop
work instructions, test plans, and internal procedures for the
completion of various projects per the given requirements or the
