Display EE Power Engineer

In this position, you will be part of pride developing innovative designs, which are implemented in products used by millions of people. The position primarily involves display module power architecture, PMIC development and application for Apple’s next generation products spanning from iPad, MacBook, iMac and standalone displays.
Collaborate with Apple internal cross-functional teams to define display power architecture.
Collaborate with silicon team to develop comprehensive display PMIC specifications, simulation cases, characterization plans.
Partner with the display EE module integration team for power solution integration, including schematic, BOM, and PCB layout. Provide technical support and resolve production issues in the factory.
Conduct validation of power solution in the lab, documenting and presenting results for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in frequency domain analysis including AC analysis, stability analysis, impedance analysis, frequency response extraction.
- Experience in modeling mixed signal circuits with standard analog and digital building blocks.
- Experience using Cadence Spectre and Virtuoso platforms, along with SPICE-based tools, to model, simulate, and verify analog/mixed-signal designs at both the transistor and system level.
- MSEE or PhD preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to management and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with analytical and problem solving skills for optimizing simulation benches, debugging convergence issues, and performing sensitivity and worst-case analyses.
- Familiar with display touch solutions.
- Experience with TFT Pixel and panel modeling.
