    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our clients manufacturing team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, expertise in SAP, and a background in purchasing materials, components, and supplies for a high-volume production environment.


    Responsibilities:


    • Source, evaluate, and purchase raw materials, components, and supplies based on production needs.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier reliability.
    • Utilize SAP to manage purchase orders, track shipments, and analyze procurement data.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
    • Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to support uninterrupted operations.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.


    • 3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
    • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and improve procurement processes.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
