We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, optimizing business processes, and collaborating with IT teams to implement system improvements. You will play a key role in ensuring that business applications align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Assess current business processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Work with development teams to design, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop functional specifications, process workflows, and system documentation.
- Support system implementation, including testing, training, and change management.
- Troubleshoot system issues, working closely with IT teams and vendors to resolve problems.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for process optimization.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, and system integrations.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise business applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
- Ability to create detailed documentation, process models, and functional specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based applications such as Salesforce, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of API integrations and data mapping.
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar business analysis frameworks.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
