program. The Structural Designer III will work with cross-discipline
designers and engineers in drafting Industrial, ETO, and packaged
projects. Responsible for the setup up and coordination of projects
using FTI design tools, specifically Revit and AutoCAD. Will also be
responsible for any steel connection family creation and managing of
those libraries. Will interact and work directly with outside
fabrication contractors, clients (both internal & external) to
coordinate and answer any RFI\'s. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
Associate\'s Degree in Construction Management or Architectural field is
preferred Experience: 4 years related trade experience Travel: 10-15%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM,
Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of
the week to meet business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \* Operates Revit
to create models and drawings in support of Structural Engineers. \*
Checks Revit & CAD-produced drawings against design input for accuracy.
\* Interfaces and coordinates with clients, and other subcontractors:
architectural, civil, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design.
\* Updates & helps to create a structural library of custom and standard
structural connections. \* Sufficiently documents scope of design for
customer review and ensures that all assumptions in design are
documented to avoid risk. \* Creates lifting & rigging drawings for
internal and external use. \* Maintains and coordinates the structural
model when required for BIM 360 review. \* Performs other related duties
as required and assigned. The job description and responsibilities
