Receptionist: Full time, Batavia location. Over the last 40 years University Eye Specialists, P.C. has made it our mission to provide state-of-the-art primary and specialty eye care of the highest quality in rural community settings. We are made up of an experienced and caring team devoted to full-filling that mission. Our medical receptionist will greet patients, activate patient files, and move patients through a pre-determined schedule of appointments providing an outstanding experience for our patients Medical Receptionists Main Duties: Making and confirming appointments over the phone. Checking patients in as they arrive. Triaging patient concerns. Prepping Charts. Obtaining authorizations for exams from insurance companies. Scanning documents into the electronic health record system. Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED Required. Associates or Certification in Medical Receptionist Preferred. High School Diploma/ GED Required. 2-3 Years of Customer Service Experience. Excellent Phone Skills (Prior Receptionist or call center experience preferred). Prior Medical Experience Preferred.
