Job Description
This position is responsible for all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and improvements. The Manager researches and hires contractors as needed to help complete tasks that may arise.
Ensures maintenance staff begins work on time and is briefed on priorities and assignments.
Responsible for opening/closing procedures (i.e., doors un/locked, machines and lights on/off).
Standardizes routine preventative maintenance program as it pertains to individual production assets and assigns maintenance staff to perform routine duties.
Assists staff in correcting issues that require follow-up.
Completes all maintenance staff performance reviews in timely manner.
Sources ways to simplify tasks for maintenance; Recommends changes and implements as appropriate.
Qualifications
Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and welding tools
Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (including, but not limited to programmable logic controllers, solid state motor drives, overhead traveling cranes and hydraulic circuits)
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with an aptitude for MIS systems and technologies
Skilled in precise math and use of precision instrument skills
Ability to organize and multi task
Knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental Management systems, MP2, and 5S
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
10+ years of related experience
